Hazel Eldritch Wand - 45cm long
HAZEL. (Corylus Avellana). Long wand.
English softwood traditionally used for hurdles and wattle and daub walling. Light cream in colour with little obvious grain pattern.
This is the wolf in sheep’s clothing. Made from a light and pale wood it has an aggressive downsweep from the handle leading to a lightly squared off fore section of the shaft. Sits well in the hand and has a pair of watchers eyes in the handle.
Overall length is 45cm.
Handle is 15cm.
Taper is from 18mm down to 8mm.
