Scribology - Revival Leather Notebooks
At Makers & Menders we try very hard to make use of good materials that without intervention would have been thrown away. When upholstered furniture reaches the end of its useful life, the leather is often still in serviceable condition and so we use it to make a range of environmentally conscious refillable travellers' notebooks so that you too can make eco-friendly choices.
All of the leather we reuse is carefully quality checked, cleaned and processed before we make it into notebooks and we try to use as much of it as possible, only discarding sections that are damaged or worn. As upholstery leather is by its nature more drapey, if you prefer a sturdier cover we recommending choosing from our legacy, heritage, or veg tan collections.
This collection features all of the colours you’d expect to find in your living room - blacks and browns, reds, greens and greys. We like to accent them with contrasting tags and elastics to make them vibrant and statement pieces. Who says eco-friendly has to be boring?!
