A striking blue eye hand painted in acrylics onto a natural river cobble foraged from our local woods which was originally deposited there by a glacier many moons ago!
The rock is sealed with our own non-toxic natural oil and wax blend to give it a beautiful subtle sheen and protect the art work without resorting to resin or varnish. This gives a much more pleasing, environmentally friendly finish and can be simply buffed with a soft cloth to revive the shine when needed. This item also comes with a handmade support made from salvaged hardwood to display it at the correct angle (see photo).
This is a beautiful statement piece which is bound to be a conversation starter and is an unusual take on "standard" painted rock art. Portraiture and sculpture in one piece!
