Blue Bunny & Brown Bunny
Blue bunny & brown bunny are Ethan’s precious two Jellycat bunnies. Unfortunately the family dog thought they looked tasty and proceeded to wolf down the ears!! They came to us for surgery. You can read more about this project in our blog here. I was lucky to find in my stash a donor bunny which had both pale blue and beige coloured ears and fur! So I was able to use those to make a new ear for blue bunny and graft onto the end of his existing one. And I used the brown to make the inner half of the ears and some other fluffy plush to make the outside of the ears for the brown bunny.
Blue bunny had a few more issues - his shoulder fur had worn through, so I patched that and his foot was also looking a bit precarious, having been resewn back on a few times. That was re-secured and the two bunnies were restuffed and looked a lot happier to be able to hear again!
Please visit our Teddy Repair Service page for more details of how you can get your own precious teddy restored or mended by us.
